General Motors Complete its Small-Series BrightDrop EV Production in US

The automobile giant ‘General Motors’ has now produced the first examples of the company’s BrightDrop EV600 electric delivery vehicle, and for the primary small series production, the BrigthDrop EV600 has been cooperating with a partner, and later the series of production is going to begin in the company’s own factory, and additionally, the BrightDrop is also going to introduce the smaller offshoot, which is known as the EV410.

The vehicle EV600 has been the first fully electric delivery van of BrightDrop, and the van had been announced in the month of January 2021, and the first deliveries to the large customer of the company known as FedEx, had been announced for the ongoing year.

According to General Motors, the majority of the interested customers are not going to expect larger numbers until the year 2022, and this has because of the fact that, a small series has been reserved for the company ‘FedEx’ and are going to be first produced with the help of an unknown partner.

BrightDrop has been planning to expand the production of the vehicle to the plant based in Canada on two shifts, and a Marketing Permitting has been the plan for increasing to three shifts in the 2024, and the vehicle manufacturer has made the announcement when, it has released the retooling plans in the month of July 2022.

The first major orders for the electric delivery vehicle have already been received and the customer FedEx is going to be receiving the first EV600s.
