The Automobile company Volkswagen of the United States has announced, it is planning to end the production of the company’s Passat car in the United States from 2022, which has been decided as a part of the company’s transformation for building the future electric vehicles.
Although the German automobile company has now been planning to release a limited-edition Passat model along with the details inspired by Chattanooga, which is going to be celebrating the integral role played by the vehicle in the resurgence of the company in the United States of America.
Scott Keogh, CEO and president of Volkswagen Group America said, they have successfully sole some version of the car for around 50 years, and the car has also launched their relationship with Chattanooga, that is currently supporting thousands of jobs in the country, and he also said, with the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport cars are in high demand, along with the North American Launch of the company’s all-electric ID.4 SUV in 2022, the future of the company in Chattanooga is now looking even more brighter than ever.
The Passat limited-edition of 2022 is mainly including the details of the unique interior and exterior design, which have been created for the purpose of celebrating the history of the model along with recognizing the contributions made by the employees, who are responsible in creating Passat, and 1,973 limited-edition models of Passat ae now expected for being produced for the purpose of recognizing the year when the Passat was first built in Germany.
