US Regulator, People Unknowingly Assume Consumer Products are Safe

The head of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission said that, just because a particular product has been for sales does not mean that it is safe to consume, and the federal agency has also charged with the protection of the public against the deadly and dangerous products.

Alexander Hoehn-Saric, chairman of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission said that, he knows that in talking to the people, and they are often thinking because it is on the shelves and it has also been pre-approved by the government of the United States, which has not been the case.

The task of the agency has been a monumental one, and the agency has literally been a matter of life and death of the people, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission has also been charged with the protection of the people from the death and injury along with the damage to the property that has been linked with more than thousands of the different products. Such kind of the incidents has been costing the United States more than one trillion dollars every year as per the agency.

By integrating the challenge has been the limited authority of CPSC and however there have been regulations and the safety standards of the country in the place, and most of them are voluntary along with leaving it up to the producers on an array of the products.
