Swedish Study Confirms Rye Bread Actually Aid Weight Loss

According to a study done by Swedish researchers, they have found that breakfast on the rye bread has been significantly reducing the appetite, which has been resulting in 16 percent less calories consumed during lunch, and with the rye bread the suppression of the appetite has been continued well into the afternoon.

The bread is mostly proclaimed as the main reason for the weight gain, but the researchers have confirmed that, swapping the bread produced from refined flour with the rye bread can actually provide aid in the weight loss, and the study has also found that, a hypo caloric diet rich in the high fibre rye foods has been causing greater decrease in the body weight and also in the body fat than on the diet of refined wheat.

The researchers of the study has examined 242 overweight adults which were having a BMI of 27kg/m2 to 35kg/m2, and they have identified that the participants, who are on a diet of the products made from rye have lost more than 1 kilograms of their weight and 0.54 percent of the body fat during a period of 12 weeks than the wheat group participants.

According to the research, the whole grains helps in preventing the coronary heart diseases, along with premature death and cancer, and the research has also been suggesting that, only two slices of bread made by whole grains and one bowl of the unrefined grains each day may be significantly reduce the risk of the heart stroke and several other cardiovascular problems.
