United Kingdom Registers 40,077 New Covid-19 Cases and 40 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

On Monday, 1^st November 2021, according to the official figures, another 40,077 people in the United Kingdom has been tested positive for the novel corona virus infection, which has been responsible in bringing the total number of the corona virus cases to 9,097,311 in the United Kingdom.

The country has also recorded another 40 deaths related to the corona virus, which has brought the total number of deaths in the country to 140,672, and these figures are inly including the people, who died within 28 days after getting their first corona virus test positive test, and currently, there 9,065 corona virus patients in the hospital.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the level of adherence for the requirements of self-quarantine had significantly been lower than the compliance previously in the year, and the ONS has also reported that, the risk of death adjusted by the age of the people involving the novel corona virus had been 32 times more in the unvaccinated people of the United Kingdom than the in the fully vaccinated people between the period of 2^nd January 2021 to 24^th September 2021.

The data has also found that, the mortality rates had been consistently lower for the people, who had received only one dose of the corona virus vaccine as compared to the people who had been completely unvaccinated, and more than 86 percent of the people over the age of 12 years have now received both the doses of the novel corona virus vaccine.
