Puratos, a global bakery ingredient specialist plans to merge the two digital platforms, along with increasing its capacity to host six times as most of artisans with a personalized online store and mobile applications.

Founded in 2015 by Yann Browaeys and Steeve Broutin, Rapidle has become the French market leading company in Click & Collecting solutions, which will allow local businesses to easily create a personalized online store, mobile applications and website.

Puratos is planning to merge the start-up with Bakeronline, Belgian counterpart of Rapidle that Puratos has purchased in the year 2018 to create a large digital platform in France. The amalgamation of the two will be enabling hosting base of Puratos to jump from 750 artisans to more than 5,000 businesses within the upcoming three years.

The objective of the company is to meet the increasing adoption of the digital solutions by local businesses to increase their turnover, which is a legacy of lessons learnt during the Covid-19 lockdown and also to develop the French market for the Bakeronline.
