Joe Biden, president of the United States, said the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Joe Biden said that though the government of the United States was still dealing with many problems and working on multiple fronts, COVID-19 pandemic was a thing of the past.

Joe Biden highlights that no one was wearing masks, and everyone looked in good shape, which is why he considered that it is the end of pandemic. Although, thousands of COVID-19 cases in the United States continue to be reported across the globe, that makes the claim of Joe Biden too optimistic.

According to the National Institutes of Health, around 493,000 cases of COVID-19 were active across the globe. Thousands of new cases were reported daily, and experts believe that many more patients went unreported. The report also confirmed that at least 19.4 million cases of COVID-19 were reported across the world between August and September 2022.

More than 23,000 people were reported dead with the COVID-19 virus over a single week-long period. Around 65 percent of the total population of the United States is considered fully vaccinated.
