Mobile Network Companies Agrees to Postpone 5G at US Airports

The mobile network of the companies including Verizon and AT&T have now agreed for delaying the launch of the new 5G service of the companies at some airports in the United States. The C-band service of the companies that has been offering fast speeds along with the broader coverage are due for being turned on in the upcoming days.

The airline in the United States has been pushing for delaying the beginning of the 5G network, along with warning that, the signals of the 5G networks can possibly interfere with the navigation systems of the aeroplane, and the telecommunications companies of the United States has also expressed the frustration as they have been bowing for pressuring to the limit of the rollout of the technologies.

The company ‘AT&T’ said that, it had been temporarily deferring the rollout of the network at a limited number of the towers around several runways of the airport, and the regulators also had two years for the purpose of planning for the beginning of the 5G service.

The company also said that, they are now frustrated by the inability of the Federal Aviation Administration for doing what around 40 countries across the world have done, which has been very safe for the purpose of deploying the 5G technology without any disruption of the aviation services and they are now urging the FAA for doing the needful in the timely manner.
