According to the reports, the automobile company based in Vietnam ‘VinFast’ has been currently seeking a location for the manufacturing site of the company in the country of Germany for the purpose of manufacturing the fully electric cars and buses.
According to the sources that are familiar with the market have been speculated that, VinFast can possibly take over the factory of Opel, a car producer of Germany based in the region of Eisenach in Germany.
The Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and the company ‘VinFast’ have made an agreement for the purpose of making the electric vehicle manufacturing company of Vietnam the second international automobile company that is planning to produce the electric vehicles in the country of Germany, and the first company had been Tesla.
Before setting up a production site in the continent of Europe, the company ‘VinFast’ has been planning to import the company’s VF e35 and VF e36 battery vehicles from the region of Haiphong based in Vietnam, and starting the distribution of the electric vehicles in Germany, the Netherlands and France.
Thuy Le, chief executive officer of VinFast said that, since the novel corona virus pandemic, the producers of the electric vehicles have been moving the production more close towards the end markets, and the goal of VinFast is to offer the high quality vehicles along with the unique customer experiences at a low price.
The also said that, it is planning to open an electric vehicle factory and a battery factory in the United States in 2024.
