USDA Launches Program To Deploy Infrastructure of Renewable Energy to Rural Areas People

Tom Vilsack, secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that, the USDA has been making around 10 million dollars available for the purpose of helping the people living in the rural areas or towns of the country for developing the community renewable energy projects that is going to help them in decreasing the energy costs along with contributing to the effort to decreased the pollution responsible for the climate change.

The funds are going to be targeted for the purpose of helping the people, who are living the in the communities that had been disinvested historically. The USDA is also going to make the funds available through the new program known as Rural Energy Pilot Program for the purpose of helping the rural people of the country to bring back more strong and better than ever before.

With the help of this program, the USDA is also going to be supporting the commitment of the US government for making the environmental justice a part of every mission of the USDA for addressing the environmental, health, climate and economic impacts on the rural areas communities.

Tom Vilsack said that, under the leadership of Joe Biden, president of the United States, the agency is going to be providing a grant assistance for the people, who are particularly living in the underserved rural town for the purpose of helping them to decrease the costs of the household energy and for also addressing the energy costs.
