Ford Pro, commercial vehicle subsidiary of Ford company has announced the launch of the Ford Pro Charging, which has been a solution for the purpose of managing the commercial electric vehicle fleets and also the needs of the charging. The owners of the electric vehicle is going to receive the software and the commercial hardware infrastructure for the purpose of supporting the energy and charging management.
Ford Pro Charging said that, it has been aiming to be a part of the electrification journey of the customers of every electric vehicle by the consultation on the construction and design of the charging sites, which can possibly scale with the operations of the company while collaborating with the partners of local utility on the energy and infrastructure needs of the company.
The new business unit of the company has been further expecting the charging industry for the purpose of growing around 900,000 vans and full-size trucks in the United States by the year 2030, along with the 125,000 electric vehicle customers in the United States of all sizes. The company has also added it had been uniquely positioned for building the relationships as a trusted partner, which can enable their transition to the electric vehicles in the country.
The offer is also including the mixed fleet management including electric vehicles and ICE, and as Ford Pro is estimating the turnover of the commercial customer from 10 percent to 15 percent of the company’s fleet every year.
