EDF Renewables has selected the Sennen, a technology company based in the United Kingdom for the purpose of delivering a software system that has been mainly designed for the purpose of improving the safety and operational efficiency of the company’s offshore wind energy projects across the globe.
The contract, which is of five years, is going to be seeing the supply of the technology that has been aiming for enabling the company ‘EDF Renewables’ for the purpose of managing the operations across the company’s international portfolio notably in the countries including the United Kingdom and France, along with using one centralized system. This capability of Sennen has been very crucial to the EDF Renewables as it has been continuing to expand its portfolio across the globe.
Pierre-Emmanuel Guillot, director of operations strategy and asset management at EDF Renewables said, they are very happy for developing this new partnership with the company ‘Sennen’, and they are now looking forward for exploring the functionalities of the company’s software for their offshore wind energy farm activity across the globe.
Gaby Amiel, co-founder and CEO of Sennan said, this partnership has been a game changer for them and it has also been responsible for putting the EDF Renewables at the forefront of the digital transformation in the industry.
The system of Sennen is also going to be powering the control room for wind energy farms, and it has also been designed for allowing the EDF Renewables for planning further along with responding to the real time data so that, the team can possibly make some informed decisions without having any other dely.
