Boris Johnson: Clean Energy Sources to Power UK Electricity by 2035

On Monday, 4^th October 2021, Boris Johnson, prime minister of United Kingdom said, by 2035, all the electricity in the United Kingdom is going to come from the sources of renewable energy, and this move is going to be helpful in ending the reliance of the United Kingdom on the imported fuel.

Kwasi Kwarteng, energy and business secretary of United Kingdom said, the only way for strengthening the energy security of the country is zero carbon power, which has been generated in the United Kingdom, and Boris Johnson also said, he believed that, the United Kingdom can possibly get to complete the production of clean energy, which is also including the nuclear power and the renewable sources by the middle of the coming decade.

United Kingdom has been getting a large part of its energy from the sources of renewable energy like the sun and wind, and the country has also largely ended the use of the power produced from coal, but it has been still remained heavily reliant on the natural gas and increasing the prices of the gas across the world, has been responsible in driving up the energy bills for the people in the United Kingdom.

Boris Johnson said, the advantage of the renewable sources means that, the United Kingdom is not going to be dependent on the hydrocarbons that have been coming from overseas, along with all the fluctuations in the prices of hydrocarbon along with the risk which is possessing the pockets of the people in the country.
