The automobile giants including Volkswagen UK and Hyundai Motor UK has announced partnerships with the company ‘eDynamix’ as a part of the efforts for automating and streamlining the aftersales customer service of the dealers of the companies.
Hyundai has signed the partnership with eDynamix for the purpose of launching a new phase in the development of the automation system of the workshop of the company and Volkswagen UK has partnered for the purpose of offering a digitized self-serving strategy by introducing the eDynamix online check-in, along with the AutoPoint Digital collection lockers and key-drop.
The online check-in functionality that is being used by the company ‘Volkswagen’ is responsible for automatically sending the email and SMS communication to the customers by using the data from a DMS of the dealers for asking them to do the check-in online, and the customer can then give the confirmation of the booking details, along with adding the additional items, add and view the unsold work from the customer’s past vehicle check, along with requesting for a service plan quote and also reserving an AutoPoint locker for the day of the customers visit.
Iain Nickalls, CEO at eDynamix said, the check-in system by has been rapidly becoming an expectation for the customers, along with providing the customers with both choice and convenience on how they are going to be interacting with a dealer. He also said that, in the past few month, their teams have been closely working for the purpose of ensuring that, their check-in tools are going to be tailored to the requirements of Volkswagen for the purpose of providing seamless self-serve journey to the customers.
