The company ‘Zydus Pharmaceuticals’ based in the United States have signed a license and apply partnership with the company CHEMI, a subsidiary of the Italfarmaco Group based in Italy, and the company Zydus Pharmaceuticals has signed the supply and license partnership or agreement for the purpose of launching the product ‘Lovenox’ (Enoxaparin Sodium Injection), which has been equivalent to Sanofi, and it is branded by the company Aventis.
The Lovenox is going to be launched in seven dosages in the United States, and under the agreement, the company ‘CHEMI’ is going to produce and supply the Enoxaparin Sodium Injection, which is then going to be commercialized by the company Zydus in the United States.
The company ‘CHEMI’ also owns the propriety rights on a pharmaceutical product, that has been composed of the single-use and pre-filled syringes of the preservative free Enoxaparin Sodium, that has been an APrated generic version of the product ‘Lovenox’, and the company CHEMI is also going to be utilizing the proprietary technology of the company, and it is also going to manufacture the injection of the Enoxaparin Sodium with the proprietary production facilities located across Italy.
Within the ITF group, CHEMI is also going to be integrated vertically on the API manufacturing of the Enoxaparin Sodium, that will be ensuring the quality along with an uninterrupted supply of the critical care product, and the Enoxaparin Sodium Injection, is also going to be used for the prophylaxis of the Deep Vein thrombosis (DVT) in the patients that have been currently undergoing the hip, abdominal and knee replacement surgeries.
