GenesisCare, a provider of the integrated cancer care across the globe announced that, it has been successful in taking a minority equity position in the company ‘Prelude Corporation (PreludeDx)’, which is a leader in the precision medicine and molecular diagnostics.
The investment is now going to represent the second partnership for both the companies, and it has also been following the strategic partnership, which is clinically led for rapidly increasing the patients with the ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) across the globe.
The investment is also going to be accelerating the global data registry, that has been established by both the companies, along with the expansion of the rollout for DCISionRT to the needy patients along with acceleration of the active development of a new and early-stage invasive breast caner by the company PreludeDx.
Dan Collins, founder and chief executive officer of GenesisCare, the company GenesisCare has now been partnering with PreludeDx for the purpose of improving the access for the patients of cancer to the vital precision medicine diagnostics along with the tailored treatments.
Dan Collins also said, the DCISionRT test is responsible in providing an accurate and more reliable method of determining that, a patient is going to be benefitted from the postoperative radiation therapy or not.
