UK MHRA Approved Novavax Covid-19 Vaccine ‘Nuvaxovid’

The UK MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare product Regulatory Agency) has now given the authorization to Nuvaxovid, novel corona virus vaccine that has been developed by Novavax, and with this approval, Nuvaxovid has now become the 5th novel corona virus vaccine which has been approved for use by the MHRA of the United Kingdom.

Sajid Javid, health secretary of the United Kingdom said that, it has been great for seeing the country’s world renowned regulator of medicines to approve one more novel corona virus vaccine, and he wants that, the United Kingdom for being the best place in the world for the purpose of conducting the clinical trials, with the help of thousands of the people that are participating in the clinical trials in the country, along with the contributing to the invaluable research that has been showing that, their corona virus vaccines are effective and safe.

June Raine, chief executive of MHRA said that, their approval of the Nuvaxovid corona virus vaccine has been flowing a thorough review of the quality, safety and effectiveness of the covid-19 vaccine and the advice of the experts from the independent scientific advisory board of the UK government.

June Raine also said that, they are going to continue their vital safety work in the process of monitoring the use of all the novel corona virus vaccines for the purpose of ensuring that, the benefits of the vaccines in the protection of the people against the novel corona virus disease.
