On Monday, 22nd November 2021, the government of the United Kingdom said, the travellers, who are vaccinated by the Covaxin corona virus vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech based on India, is now going to be able to travel any part of the United Kingdom as the country has now included the vaccine in the UK’s approved vaccine list.
This move means that, the people, who are vaccinated with the Covaxin Corona virus vaccine will not have to self-quarantine themselves after the arrival in the United Kingdom. In the month of October 2021, the United Kingdom has added the Covishield corona virus vaccine, which has been the Oxford University and AstraZeneca corona virus vaccine manufactured in India.
Previously, Alex Ellis, British High Commissioner said that, the United Kingdom is going to be recognizing the Covaxin novel corona virus vaccine as a valid vaccine for the purpose of travelling from 22nd November 2021, and he also said that, it has been more good news for the travellers coming from India to the United Kingdom.
From 22nd November 2021, the travellers who are fully vaccinated with a novel corona virus vaccine recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the emergency use, that is including the Covaxin will not have to self-quarantine themselves after arriving in the United Kingdom.
The government of the United Kingdom has accepted the Covaxin Vaccine developed in India for the purpose of smoother travel after the WHO has issued a listing of emergency use for the vaccine on 3rd November 2021.
