On Wednesday, 1st December 2021, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said, it is now planning to make strict novel corona virus testing requirements along with the screening of the international fliers that are bound for the United States of America due to the concern related to the Omicron covid-19 variant.

The US CDC has also been considering that, the travelers are required to provide a negative corona virus test result taken within 24 hours before their departure along with several other measures.

Even though the US CDC has yet to announce the changes officially, the prospects of the changes have sent the travelers searching for the updates, along with booking the pre-emptive tests where they can and also searching on the airline websites for the changes in their reservations, as the novel corona virus pandemic has threatened to affect another travel season.

The plans of the US CDC for tightening the testing requirements has been reflecting the increasing concerns about the Omicron Covid-19 variant, which has been the highly mutated form of the corona virus that had first been identified in the Southern regions of Africa and has been detected in many countries across the globe, which also includes the United Kingdom.
