UK Lifts All Covid-19 Restrictions On Travelers

The government of the United Kingdom has lifted all the novel corona virus restrictions on the fully vaccinated travelers arriving in the country, that have been imposed over the past two years in an attempt for tackling the novel corona virus.

The visitors and residents of the United Kingdom, who have received at least two doses of any of the approved corona virus vaccine will now only need to out a passenger locator form before traveling to the United Kingdom and the people, who are not vaccinated will still have to take the tests two times before and after arriving in the country but they will not need to self-quarantine themselves until they receive their negative test report.

Grant Shapps, transport secretary of the United Kingdom said that, they are now having one of the most free-flowing border across the globe while sending a clear message that, the country is now open for the business.

Several travel companies and Airlines have been hailing this announcement as a lifeline after two years of serious restricted travel, and Andrew Flintham, MD of Tui TK travel group said, there had been a large pent-up demand or the international travel, and the people had been rushing for booking the getaways for the school break of February 2022 and Easter holiday of April 2022.

Some of the scientists in the country are worried that, the UK government has been moving too fast, and the conservative government of Boris Johnson, prime minister of the United Kingdom, has now lifted most of the domestic covid-19 restrictions in the month of January 2022.
