Amcor Launched Green Paper Packaging for Confectionary Industry

Amcor, a confectionary packaging company has now developed a new platform in order for developing the recyclable wrapping solutions based on the paper, and the company said that, its LifeSpan Performance Paper has been launched in Europe and has been the first ew product on the global AmFiber platform.

This new wrapper has been a paper-based, grease-resistant and high-barrier solution for the confectionary and snacks market, and with over 80 percent of the content of paper fibre and PVDC-free, the latest material innovation of Amcor has been recyclable across most of the countries in Europe and it is also allowing the brands for responding to the increasing requests of consumers for the packaging based on the paper.

Noemi Bertolino, vice president of Research and Development for the EMEA flexibles business of Amcor said, the LifeSpan Performance Paper has been a unique solution based on the paper that has been providing a high barrier and also in the tropical conditions. Noemi Bertolino said, their customers have also confirmed the excellent performance on the packaging lines of the company and a high barrier after the processing, along with overcoming the two common challenges when they will be switching to the paper.

Noemi Bertolino added, this launch has been the result of the approach of Amcor to the material innovation, and they are also aiming for continuously enhancing the sustainability of packaging along with delivering the performance that is required by the brands, and currently they are in the development for the future applications of LifeSpan Performance Paper like spices, coffee, and more.
