White House: US to Invest $3 billion in Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Chain

Jeff Zients said, the investment is going to allow the producers of the vaccine for adding the new facilities and production lines and it is also going to fulfil the pledge of Joe Biden, president of the United States for being the arsenal of the vaccines for the world, and the government officials have been calling that, the covid-19 vaccination has been essential as the Delta variant of the novel corona virus is driving an increase in the covid-19 cases including the children.

Jeff Zients said, the investments, which they are making are going to be in the companies of the United States, which is going to be expanding the capacity of the United States for the critical supplies, and the areas of focus are going to include the bioreactor bags, needles, lipids, tubing, syringes and other personal protective equipment, and the government has not selected any specific companies for receiving the funds.

The demand of the United States for the novel corona virus vaccines still remains high as the government of the country is preparing to start offering a third booster dose vaccine to the people of the country, and it is pending the approval from the US regulator, and the government of the United States are also planning to give millions of corona virus vaccine shots to the other countries.
