US Government Gives Around 560,000 Covid-19 Vaccine Shots to Ghana

On Wednesday, 2nd February 2022, the government of the United States has now donated and shipped more than 560,000 doses of the novel corona virus developed BioNTech and Pfizer to the country of Ghana based in the western region of Africa.

An official of the government of the United States said that, as the president of the country said, the United States is going to be the arsenal of the novel corona virus vaccines in their fight against the novel corona virus, they are very proud for being able to deliver these effective and safe corona virus vaccines to the people of the country of Ghana.

The government of the United States said that, the 565,110 doses of the novel corona virus vaccine has been shipped from the United States and the vaccines are going to be distributed through the global initiative known as COVAX, which has been founded for the purpose of ensuring the equitable access to the novel corona virus vaccines.

These new shots of the covid-19 vaccines has been coming from the 0.5 billion doses of the vaccines secured by the government of the United States in the country.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the country of Ghana, which has been a coastal country of around 31 million people has recorded around 157,000 corona virus cases, and it has been resulted in 1,395 corona virus deaths and until now, the country has administered over 9.7 million corona virus vaccine doses in the country.
