Sir Elton John to Headline Glastonbury 2023 Stage in Final UK gig

In 2023, Sir Elton John will headline the Glastonbury Festival, the final stop on his farewell tour of the United Kingdom. On Sunday, June 25, 2022, Sir Elton John will headline the Pyramid Stage, and he has also promised an incredible farewell.

According to Sir Elton John, there is no better way to say goodbye to his UK fans. He said he can’t wait to embrace the spirit of the greatest festival in the world, and it will be a very emotional moment. The announcement of the 350-date Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour by Sir Elton John came more than five years after the event.

The singer had originally planned for the show to end in 2021, giving him more time with his family. However, the dates had to be rescheduled because of his hip injury and the COVID-19 pandemic. Dodger Stadium, where Sir Elton John established his superstar status in 1975 with two historic performances, the singer has completed the US portion of the tour.

With the caption “One final date to announce, the Rocket Man is coming, Sir Elton John teased the announcement via Instagram. The festival organizer Emily Eavis, said that he is thrilled to inform them that the singer will headline the Pyramid Stage for the first time in 2023 at Glastonbury.
