Florence Welch Canceled UK Tour After Her Foot Broke on Stage

Florence Welch has cancelled her UK tour after the singer broke her foot on stage. The singer was injured on the opening night of the tour at London’s O2 Arena, but she has managed to complete her first show. According to a fan, she has kept having to leave to see a medic while they have cleaned the blood off the stage.

After being incorrect assurance that she had not broken a bone, the singer then ran a lap across the O2 stage, while singing her song Choreomania. In an Instagram post the following day, Florence Welch announced that she was so sorry to say that, after an X-ray, it seems she was dancing on a broken foot, alongside a picture of the blood spilled on the stage.

The singer added that, it is not in her nature to postpone a show, and certainly not a UK tour but she is pain and as the dancers know that dancing on an injury is a not a good idea, the singer added. Florence Welch continued that she had been told not to perform to avoid further damage, and was hoping to reschedule the dates in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Dublin, London, and Nottingham.

Florence Welch, who mainly performs barefoot, have also broke her third metatarsal in the right foot while jumping from the stage at the Coachella Music Festival in 2015.
