Volkswagen to Build Large EV Factory in Germany

Volkswagen, car manufacturing company based in Germany has now announced the intention of the company for building a new plant to produce electric cars in a bid for competing with the electric vehicle producer Tesla.

This new plant is going to be conveniently located next to the current headquarters of Volkswagen in the region of Wolfsburg in Lower Saxony, and the company has also said that, the construction is going to start as early as in the year 2023.

This means that, the very first cars for the purpose of rolling off the production line of the new electric vehicle factory is going to be complete by the year 2026, and Volkswagen has been investing 35 billion euros for the purpose of funding the ambitions of the company for becoming a leader in the manufacturing of electric vehicle, and the company has also been aiming to become the largest electric vehicle company in the world by the year 2025.

This announcement of Volkswagen comes after Tesla had been officially given the permission for starting the production at the company’s new gigafactory in the state of Brandenburg, and the new factory of Volkswagen is going to be setting the international company that has been backed by 2.2 billion dollars and is also going to be dedicated to the production of the vehicles of Project Trinity, which has been the core of the electric ambitions of Volkswagen.
