Timac Agro USA, a specialist in the innovation for the high efficiency nutrition of the plant across the world has announced that, the company has completed the acquisition of the Americus Ga based Rainbow Plant Food from the Nutrien Ltd.

This acquisition of the Rainbow Plant Food is going to be allowing Timac Agro USA for locally manufacturing the company’s most renowned patented granular technology for the purpose of serving the crop growers in the United States in the quest for the profitability and productivity. The Rainbow Fertilizers is going to continue for offering the grades of the Super Rainbow, along with International Rainbow and Rainbow and also operating as an independent brand within the portfolio of the Timac Agro USA.

Alex Goullier, chief executive officer of Timac Agro USA said, the Rainbow has always been iconic and tied to the land, as it has been the hometown brand of the family farmer, and this recognition of the brand has been invaluable and the ability for maintaining and continuing the legacy of the brand has been very critical for their future endeavours.

He also said that, by keeping the brand ‘Rainbow’ consistent, it is going to be allowing their relationship with the farmers and dealers for growing even more because of the historical footprint of the Rainbow in the Southeast and Cotton Belt.
