Mark Zuckerberg: Facebook to Launch Smart Glasses with Ray Ban

The social media giant ‘Facebook’ is going to launch the company’s first pair of smart glasses from the company Ray Ban in the partnership with the company Essilor Luxottica group, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook have confirmed the news at the time of the call from the investor for the quarterly results of the company.

Mark Zuckerberg have also stressed that, the glasses are also going to have the factor of iconic form of the company Ray Ban and this partnership is also going to let the users for doing some of the neat things even though Mark Zuckerberg did not give any elaboration of these features.

During the call of the investors, Mark Zuckerberg said, he has been very excited for getting the glasses in the hands of the people and also for continuing to make the progress on the journey towards the complete augmented reality glasses in the upcoming future, and the company Facebook has not been clarified the timeline that, when the smart glasses are going to be released.

Mark Zuckerberg also said, the Oculus Quest 2, which has been the virtual reality gaming headset of the company has been continuing for doing well and most of the popular mobile applications on the platform are social, and he added that, this has been the perfect fit with the original thesis, which the virtual reality technology is going to be a social platform of the company Facebook, and in the past, the company has been talking about the project known as Aria, that had been announced in September 2020.
