Eni Acquires Solar Energy Projects of Dhamma Energy in Spain and France

Dhamma Energy, Independent producer of the solar energy has agreed for selling the company’s business in the countries including France and Spain to the electricity and gas producer Eni gas e luce, which has been a subsidiary of Eni, energy company based in Italy.

The company ‘Dhamma Energy’ is having a portfolio of the assets of solar energy, that has been totalling around 30 gigawatts, that has also been including the plants that are mainly optional, along with in the advanced development stages and several other stages of development.

The company Eni has also acquired the business of Dhamma Energy in France and Spain as it is a part of the company’s strategic plan for the purpose of expanding the renewable energy capacity and for also integrating the deal with the retail operations of the company in both Spain and France.

Followed by the closure of the transaction, that has been subject to meet the closing conditions of the customers, the workforce of Dhamma Energy is going to merge with the Eni gas e luce’s, and the founding members of Dhamma Energy are now planning to continue in pursuing the activities in other energy markets including the green hydrogen arm of Mexico, that was established few years ago.
