England’s Raheem Sterling to Take More Time over his World Cup Return

England’s Raheem Sterling will take more time to decide whether to return to Qatar before England’s World Cup quarter-final clash with France after the incident at his home in England.

Raheem Sterling has missed England’s win over Senegal after flying back to the United Kingdom because of a family issue. Watches and jewellery were among the items that were stolen at his home, and Sterling have been left shaken by the incident, and left with fear for the safety of his children and fiancee.

In Sterling’s absence, England’s coach Gareth Southgate must prepare for the upcoming task of facing France, and England are not short of options in terms of the attacking players. Raheem Sterling has lost his place since the beginning of the World Cup, and Gareth Southgate said that, Sterling was not due to be in the starting 11 against Senegal.

It is estimated that Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka will keep their places as wingers against France, and Raheem Sterling began the tournament by scoring when England defeated Iran 6-2 in the opening game, but the winger was substituted after a disappointing performance against the USA.

The Football Association has reiterated to the players of England that additional security measures can be organized at their homes while they are away for games.
