FIFA World Cup: England Beat Wales 3-0 to Qualify for Round of 16

At the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar, Gareth Southgate’s England team defeated Wales 3-0 to advance to the Round of 16 as the winners of Group B. They answered questions about their lack of creativity and goals.

In a matter of minutes, England’s Marcus Rashford and Foden both scored twice after the first half ended goalless. The players’ early start was justified by their dominance over Wale’s defense. Given the breadth of talent in the country, the players’ form and creativity give Gareth Southgate a pleasant headache.

Foden was the first in four changes from Gareth Southgate’s team, which was held goalless by the United States, and Rashford took the place of Raheem Sterling on the right flank. England got control over the game just five minutes into the second half, and Rashford and Foden played important roles in the first two goals.

Wales has put in a lot of effort, but the team still has a lot to offer. Wales suffered a greater setback when their star forward, Gareth Bale was substituted at halftime while representing the nation in a major tournament for the last time.

In the Round of 16, England will face Senegal, who is in Group A, and based on their performance, they appear to be promising to go some distance. The United States of America qualified as the second team after a close 1-0 victory over Iran. England finished with 7 points as well. After qualifying for their first World Cup finals since 1958, Wales had an uneventful conclusion.
