Report: Tesla Aims to Double Vehicle Sales in Germany in 2022

According to reports, electric vehicle producer Tesla is focusing on doubling its vehicle sales in Germany. This comes at a time when the automobile company is increasingly aiming at more production and increasing sales in an attempt to gain more market share and enhance profitability.

Since the beginning of production at the manufacturing plant operation of Tesla, the automobile company has increased the production volume to over 1,000 units every week. Now, Tesla is aiming to increase production output to 5,000 units every week and even higher gradually. Eventually, the EV company of the United States is aiming to ramp up its production so that it can increase the sales of its EVs by doubling in Germany.

Tesla’s gigafactory currently produces the Model Y electric crossover. Apart from that, Tesla also imports the Model X and Model S cars from plants based in the United States. Besides selling the German-made cars in the country, Tesla also exports the cars to other European countries.

Besides selling cars made in Germany, Tesla also exports these cars to other countries in Europe. However, with a plan to double EV sales in Germany, Tesla may also see emphasis more on the German automobile market than other countries in Europe.
