JLR Launched World Changing Technology To Benefit Drivers In UK

The drivers of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) cars can now make use of the world changing technology, which has been allowing them for getting the precise navigation without having a data connection.

The British car company has been the first company to deliver the technology known as ‘always-on’ what3words capability, along with ensuring all the drivers for getting the precise navigation even in the most remote locations in the country. By launching the update software-over-the-air (SOTA), the drivers can now benefit from the technology even if they does not have a data connection.

The what3words has divided the world into a grid of around 57 trillion 3m x 3m squares and has also given each one a unique combination of three words, and with the help of this technology, which has been working without the need for the mobile connectivity, existing and new customers are going to be available for navigating any precise location in the world by using just three words.

Mark Carter, Navigation Platform Owner, Digital Product Platform at JLR has also hailed the move and said that, the drivers are going to be benefitted. He said that, this world changing technology has been all about the simplification along with providing their customers with a seamless modern luxury experience, which means that, the can possibly find their way anywhere in the world without having any worry about the connectivity.
