Hyundai Motor Group To Invest Over $10-Billion In US By 2025

On Sunday, 22nd May 2022, Hyundai Motor Group said, it is going to be investing an additional 10 billion dollars in the United States by the year 2025 for the purpose of strengthening the collaboration with the companies of the United States in the advanced technology.

The investments, which is announced during a visit to Seoul by Joe Biden, president of the United States are for the robotics, along with the urban air mobility and the autonomous driving and the artificial intelligence as said by the company.

The company, which is housing Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Corp, has also announced the plans for investing 5.5 billion dollars in the region of Georgia for building the electric vehicle (EV) and also the battery facilities.

The new electric vehicle and battery manufacturing facilities of Hyundai is going to be based in the southern right to work state, where the labour union have been less prevalent and the company cannot require workers for joining.

The president of the United States has also described himself as the most pre-union president in the history of the United States, but the deal that is announced by Republican governor of Georgia has also showed the compromises the president might have for making as he is wooing the investment in the abroad countries.
