On Wednesday, 27th April 2022, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said, it has now initiated an Open Innovation strategy for the purpose of accelerating the next-generation technology and sustainability for the purpose of supporting its modern luxury vision for the business along with its customers and partners.
The company said that, the open Innovation strategy of JLR is going to be driving the partnerships with the scale-ups, start-ups and also the like-minded external organizations on the digital services, connectivity, metaverse, electrification, manufacturing, intelligent enterprise, sustainability and supply chain.
Franois Dossa, executive director of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said, with the launch of the Open Innovation strategy, the company has been looking at the entire mobility and sustainability ecosystem for the purpose of offering an unparalleled customer experience, along with shaping the future of their industry and also paving the way to the future.
The company is also going to be exploring from the second-life batteries and also the circular economy to the new digital services, insurtech and fintech that are all aligned with the JLR as the very proud creators of the modern luxury.
As a part of the new global strategy, the company ‘JLR’ is going to be launching an innovation hub in the United Kingdom and in partnership with the corporate innovation platform and the plug and play.
