New Zealand to Reopen Its Borders for International Travel

The country of New Zealand has been bringing forward the opening of the country’s international borders for some of the travellers after more than two years of the novel corona virus isolation along with Jacinda Ardern, prime minister of New Zealand saying that, an inflow of the tourists is going to be boosting the economy of the country.

This change means that, the end of some of the toughest border controls in the wprld during the novel corona virus pandemic that were imposed as the government of New Zealand has tried to keep the corona virus out will be coming months ahead of the past schedule.

The policies of New Zealand has also helped in keeping the infections and the low number of deaths, but with Omicron covid-19 variant spreading rapidly across the world, the criticisms has been increased as the business mainly including tourism and the agricultural industries has been seeing a little value in staying closed from the rest of the world.

Jacinda Ardern said, the fully vaccinated travellers from the country of Australia, which has been the largest source of tourists of New Zealand can now enter without any need for quarantining themselves from 12^th April 2022 other than the month of July planned in the past.

The international tourists coming from the visa-waiver countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and Singapore are now going to be able to visit New Zealand from 1^st May 2022.
