Hawaii To Remove Covid-19 Travel and Quarantine Rules from 26th March 2022

The officials of Hawaii has been planning to lift the novel corona virus quarantine requirement for the travellers starting from 26th March 2022, and the people, who are arriving in the United States from the other places will no longer have to show the proof of the corona virus vaccination or a negative corona virus test report.

David Ige, reffering to the government said that, since the rule has saved the lives of the people and had been a prime factor for the purpose of limiting the spread of the novel corona virus in the islands of Hawaii, the quarantine period for the travellers have also lasted for 14 days when Hawaii has first imposed the restrictions in the month of March 2020, and now Hawaii has one of the lowest rates of the corona virus infections in the country.

Gradually, Hawaii has also started to implement the exemptions of the novel corona virus vaccination and testing, and David Ige has also further added that, Hawaii has been screened around 11.3 million passengers since the covid-19 testing exemption that had been launched in the month of October 2020.

For now, the international tourists does not need to undergo the quarantine but they are going to be required for providing the proof of the novel corona virus vaccination and a negative covid-19 test. The governor of Hawaii also added that, the Department of Health of the state is going to be reviewing the recommendations of the US CDC.
