Kia Motors Recalls 410,000 Vehicles in the United States

The automobile company ‘Kia’ has now recalled more than 410,000 vehicles in the United States for the purpose of resolving the problem that is responsible for preventing the airbags from inflating during the accident or crash. This recall has also been including several small size cars from the 2017 and 2018 model years along with the Soul small SUVs and Sedona minivans from the years 2017 through the year 2019.

Among all these vehicle, the fully electric model of the Soul car has also been included, and the automobile company of South Korea has also informed that, the airbag control cover can possibly come in contact with a memory chip and it can also potentially damage the electrical circuit of the vehicles that can possibly be responsible for stopping the airbags of the car from inflating.

The dealers of the company had also been asked for doing a proper inspection of the computer and also updating the software in the car and if need than replace it, and the owners of all the faulty vehicles are going to be informed through e mails.

In the documents, the company ‘Kia’ has posted to the safety regulators of the United States that, this issue has come up in the country of South Korea in the month of July 2021, and the also added that, it has also received around 13 complaints from the customers and around 950 warranty claims, even though there are no injuries or accidents have been reported because of the defect.
