First Electric Car Of Bentley To Be Built At Its Crewe Plant In UK

The luxury automobile producer ‘Bentley’ has announced that, the company’s first fully electric car is going to be developed and built at the company’s Crewe factory based in the United Kingdom, and the first battery electric vehicle of the luxury car brand has been scheduled for rolling off the production line of the car in the year 2025.

The company ‘Bentley’ which has been producing the cars since 1919 and the company is now owned by the company ‘Volkswagen’ of Germany, has now committed for investing 2.5 billion pounds in the sustainability over the upcoming 10 years, and this has also been including, what the company has called the full transformation of all the vehicles of Bentley and the company’s Crewe plant that is currently employing 4000 workers.

The workers, who have been building the internal combustion engines of the brand is going to be retaining and redeploying for working in the different areas of the pant of the company. Bentley, which is known for the company’s powerful and large cars, which has been announced in the year 2020 that, the company is going to stop making the vehicles that have been running on the fossil fuel by the year 2030.

The company has also been aiming to make the operations of the company completely carbon neutral and the sales of the new diesel and petrol cars are also going to be banned in the United Kingdom from the year 2030.
