ArcLight Capital Partners LLC to Launch New Renewable Energy Platform Targeting America

On 21^st December 2021, the company ‘ArcLight Capital Partners LLC, an energy infrastructure investor has recently launched a new platforms that has been focusing on the operation and development of the renewable energy plants in the region of North America, the Caribbean and Central America.

This new platform, which is called as Infinigen Renewables, is going to be benefiting from a commitment for capital of the 400 million dollars, and the platform is going to start with the two recently acquired solar energy photovoltaic (PV) plants in the region of Puerto Rico that is totalling 73.2 MW, along with multiple opportunities for the development.

Dan Revers, founder and managing partner of ArcLight Capital Partners LLC said more than 20 year history of the company, the ArcLight Capital Partners LLC is going to be investing more than 4 billion dollars in the assets of 5 GW of renewable energy, and this transaction has been the testament to their continuous commitment for enabling the decarbonisation and the sustainability.

In the past, the company ‘ArcLight Capital Partners LLC’ has also invested in the platforms known as Leeward Renewable Energy, along with the Terra-Gen Power and the Great River Hydro, and the Leeward had also been eventually acquired by the Omers Infrastructure Management Inc., in the year 2018 and it has also been no longer associated with the ArcLight.
