Sodexo Partners with Israel’s SavorEat to Test Robotic Chef at US Universities

SavorEat, 3D printing food company based in Israel has partnered with Sodexo, a global hospitality company for the purpose of carrying out the test of the company’s Robotic Chef at the selected universities in the United States starting from 2022.

The main aim of the test is to examine and eventually commercializing the Robot Chef system and it has also become the first alternative meat product, which has been developed by SavorEat, which will be a plant-based protein burger, and followed by this pilot, both the companies are hoping to reach an agreement of distribution for delivering the products of SavorEat throughout the market of the United States.

The Robot Chef system of SavorEat extrudes and cooks the plant-based proteins simultaneously for the purpose of forming the alternative meat products that mainly imitate the texture and taste of the meat, and the technology is also responsible for enabling the printing of the alternative meats that will cater to the preferences of a person regarding the allergies and several other genetic modifications.
