Ookla Recognized Three UK as Fastest 5G Network in United Kingdom

Ookla has recognized the company ‘Three UK’ as the fastest 5G network provider in the United Kingdom, and the company Three UK said, the investment of the company in the network technology has been responsible in delivering more than 29 percent of the outdoor coverage of 5G population for the customers of Three UK.

The customers of the of the company are enjoying the improved data speeds in many areas of the country where the 4G and 5G network sites are being optimized and additionally, the Three UK has also been recognized as the fastest 5G network in the areas including London, Manchester and Birmingham.

David Hennessy, Chief Technology Officer at Three UK said, these awards are the recognition of the enhancements, which they have been making and the addition of the two 10 MHz blocks of the spectrum of 700 MHz means that, these network experience of the customers are going to improve even furthers and specifically with the indoor coverage.

Around one third of the total population of the United Kingdom is now able to access the fastest 5G network of the United Kingdom outdoors as the 5G population coverage have been able to hit over 29 percent in the month of June 2021.

Over 300 locations in the country are now having live 5G sites, which had been an increase of over 110 percent in the recent months along with more locations that are being added on weekly basis, and some of the latest added locations are Denholme, Littlestone-on-Sea and Brimington.
