Covid-19 Cases in US Tripled in Over Two Weeks Amid Vaccine Misinformation

Amid the corona virus vaccine misinformation, the number of novel corona virus cases in the United States has been tripled in over two weeks, and across the United States of America the average of seven-day daily new corona virus cases has been increased by more than 37,000 in the past two weeks on 20^th July 2021.

The health officials of the United States are blaming the Delta corona virus variant and slow rates of vaccination for the increase in the covid-19 cases, and only 56.2 percent people of the United States have received at least one dose of the corona virus vaccine, as per the data published from US CDC.

Chad Neilson, director of infection prevention at the UF Health Jacksonville said, their staff and they are frustrated, and the Florida based hospital is also cancelling the elective procedures and surgeries after the number of unvaccinated corona virus patients have increased to 134 from 16 in May 2021.

Chad Neilson also said, they are now tired, and they have started thinking that, this has been a déjà vu again, and there is anger in the staffs because they know that, this is actually a preventable situation, and the people of the country are not taking the advantage of the available covid-19 vaccine.

On Wednesday, 21^st July 2021, the health officials of Louisiana have recorded 5,388 new novel corona virus cases, which has been the third highest daily increase since the beginning of the novel corona virus pandemic in 2020.
