Bugatti to Continue Using Internal Combustion Engines in its Cars

The car manufacturing company ‘Bugatti’ is going to diversify the line-up in the process of electrification of the cars, that is going to be followed by the signing of a partnership with Rimac, an electric vehicle specialist, but Bugatti is going to continue offering the internal combustion engines cars in the long-term.

As a part of the partnership, Bugatti is going to have all the access to the electric drive trains and the components that will be developed by the company ‘Rimac’ for using them in the future cars of Bugatti. Although, Mate Rimac, CEO of Rimac has promised that, the first dedicated electric car of marque is simply going to be a rebodied Rimac Nevera.

Mate Rimac also said, they are not just going to hybridize or restyle the Bugatti Chiron for the purpose of making a new car, but they are now working on the process of developing a completely new and different product from the ground up, because they think that, it is the best way to go ahead, and the car is still going to have an internal combustion engine.

In terms of the different range of the company, Bugatti is all set for the expansion beyond the strategy of one-core-model, which the company is having in the place since Bugatti has launched the ‘EB110’ in 1991, and the launch of the Mate Rimac has been referring to as the products, which are not just hyper cars.
