UK Sets Out Rules for New Artificial Intelligence Rulebook

According to the reports, UK sets out new plans for regulating the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help develop consistent rules to promote the innovation in this groundbreaking technology and protecting the public.

The news comes as the Digital Information Bill and Data Protection is introduced to Parliament, which will transform the data laws of the United Kingdom to boost innovation in the technologies such as artificial intelligence.

This bill will seize the benefits of Brexit to keep a proper and high standard of protection for privacy and personal data of the people while delivering around 1 billion pounds in savings for the businesses.

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to machines which learn from the data how to perform tasks, which are normally performed by humans. The new rules are outlining the approach of the government to regulate the technology in the United Kingdom, along with proposed rules addressing the future risks and opportunities hence the businesses are clear how they possibly develop and use artificial intelligence systems and consumers are very confident that they are robust and safe.
