Tesla Recalls 130,000 Cars Over Touchscreen Display Problem In US

The electric car manufacturing company ‘Automobile’ has been recalling around 130,000 vehicles in the United States followed by an overheating problem that might be causing the center touchscreen display to the malfunction as said by the automobile safety regulator of the United States.

According to the NHTSA ) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said, the recall has been covering all the models of Tesla made in 2021 and 2022 and the producer of the electric vehicle is going to be providing an over-the-air software update for the purpose of resolving the issue.

The company ‘Tesla’ has also recalled 48,000 Model 3 Performance vehicles in the United States in the month of April 2022 for an issue that might not be displaying the speedometer when the cars are in the Track Mode.

The NHTSA has also informed that, the overheating of the CPU of the infotainment system can also prevent the centre screen from the process of displaying the images from the rearview camera, along with warning the lights and several other information.

Tesla has also recalled of around 594,717 electric vehicles that also included Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model Y and Model X has now produced in the varied years because of a feature of Boombox that has been failed to comply with the federal rules on the pedestrian warning sounds.
