According to the new data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the number of the people who currently have the novel corona virus in the United Kingdom has been continuing to decrease. The data from the ONS has been suggesting that, around 3.76 million people had been infected in the week that has ended on 16th April 2022, which has roughly been around one in 17 people.
This is a decrease of around 15 percent on the week before, when the figure had been standing at 4.4 million, which has been around one person in 15 people. The other data from the ONS has been suggesting more than 70 percent of the people in the United Kingdom have also had the novel corona virus since the beginning of the novel corona virus pandemic.
The officials of the United Kingdom has welcomed the overall decrease in the covid-19 infection in the United Kingdom in recent weeks but has warned the levels of the corona virus also remain high. This study, which is based on testing by the ONS is giving a clear picture of the corona virus available spread since the free testing ended for most of the people in United Kingdom at beginning of May 2022.
The ONS has also cautioned that, in spite of the decrease in the corona virus infections, it has been very important for noting that, the levels still remain high and they are continuing to monitor the people going forward.
