US Extends Covid-19 Mask Rule for Travel

The federal officials of the United States are now extending the requirement for the covid-19 face masks while travelling in the planes and public transportation for one more month though the month of April 2022 as the country is taking steps that can possibly to end the mask rule in the country.

The covid-19 facemask mandate had been scheduled end on 18th March 2022 but on Thursday, 10th March 2022, the Transportation Security Administration of the United States said that, it is going to be extending the mask requirement through 18th April 2022.

The Transportation Security Administration of the United States said that, this extra month is going to be giving the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the United States for the purpose of developing the new and more targeted policies that is going to consider the number of the corona virus cases across the nation and in the local communities and also the risks of the new variants.

The Transportation Security Administration of the United States has enforced the rule that is extended to the buses, planes, trains and also the transit hubs, and as of 10th March 2022, over 98 percent of the population of the United States has been living in the areas with medium or low levels of covid-19 that means, the US CDC is no longer recommending the face masks in the public and outdoor settings of the United States.
