Study: Mixing Covid-19 Shots of Pfizer, AstraZeneca with Moderna Gives Better Immune Response

According to a study conducted by mixing the novel corona virus vaccines of different companies has found that, the people had a better immune response, when they have received first dose of Pfizer or AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine, which was then followed by the vaccine shot of Moderna after nine weeks.

Matthew Snape, a researcher in the study said, they have found a really good response of the immune system across the board, which had been higher than the threshold, which was set by the two doses of the covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University.

Matthew Snape said, he thinks that, the data from the study is especially going to be interesting and more valuable to the low and middle income nations where they are still providing the first two doses of the novel corona virus vaccines. He also said, they are showing that, the people don’t have to stick receiving the same covid-19 vaccine for their second dose if the program is going to be delivered as early as possible by using the multiple covid-19 vaccines.

The findings of the report has been supporting the flexible dosing and it is also going to offer some home to the middle and low income nations, which might be needing to combine the different brands between the first and second covid-19 vaccine shots if the supplies of the covid-19 vaccine shots will be less.

The study has also found that, a covid-19 vaccine dose of Pfizer and BioNTech followed by a Covid-19 vaccine shot of Moderna has been better than the two doses of Pfizer and BioNTech.
