United States Offered Brazil 5G Technology to Replace Huawei

Despite the continuously increasing concerns related to US security regarding the Chinese telecommunication company ‘Huawei’, Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor of the United States have been discussing to build the 5G networks in the country of Brazil, which are based on the technologies of the United States.

Jake Sullivan said, as the two biggest democracies of the hemisphere, the countries including Brazil and the United States of America are having a stake in the success of each other, and together they can be able to promote the shared prosperity and security, along with the advanced ambitious goals of both the countries and also fighting the novel corona virus pandemic.

Jake Sullivan, on his visit to Brazil, have met with Jair Bolsonaro, president of Brazil, along with the other senior officials of the country, for the purpose of discussing the deforestation of Amazon, along with the cooperation in the telecommunications, supplies in covid-19 vaccine, cybersecurity and also the prospects of Brazil becoming a partner in NATO.

The US Embassy based in Brazil said, Jake Sullivan have discussed the different issues related to the guarantees and cybersecurity, which all the people of Brazil are going to be able to benefit from the 5G network with Fabio Faria, and both the officials have also discussed the Open Ran technologies, along with the innovative tool based in the United States form the purpose of building the wireless technologies like 5G.

Fabio Faria, communications minister of Brazil said, they both have mostly discussed the Open RAN technologies, and they are also going to be working together for the purpose of elaborating the solutions on the Open RAN technologies.
